I will update this section step by step, when I will create more material. Good reading.
Haven't you always said that Microsoft sucks?
. Yes
and this truth is day by day clearer to me. But a game, even though made
of the worst material and without a good logic, can be played, if you
know how to play it in a non-conventional way (resembling the conventional
one, but who cares?).
The second aim of this section is to show that my attacks against MS Windows are not blindly taken from the Web, or by someone else's mouth. I do use it (I am forced to use it!). And now I am going to program it. And I can see how ill it is.
If you are not using Internet Explorer, some contents make no sense and I try to hide it (indentify as MSIE and you can see it). Anyway if you want to see it you can also click here.
First exempla could be:
Shortcut toprefix. This works on already created links; to avoid that behaviour you must put your hands on the registry, or use old powertoy (TweakUI by Microsoft), or there exists other solutions (one is really microsoftilly)
save asthe file and take a look with an editor (Wordpad could go). If IE says the script is slowing down the performance, let it run anyway until it finishes. Then you can read the recent files/folders you accessed! A little bit scary to me since I thought to have deleted every recents lists!
The MS Windows cmd is indeed a toy (think about unix shells...), anyway sometimes it can do it's job. WScript/CScript technologies allow more (see JScript and VBScript, that can create ActiveXObject and ...)
