ProductionModern digital equipment (among all, the computer itself) can be used to produce music. There are digital (software) mixers, sequencers, filters and so on. The sounds can be manipulated in very different ways. Few times ago I've downloaded very interesting GPL softwares. A couple of these does not work on my system (that misses something and somewhere is out of date), but I will work on this... And so what? Guess... I am plenty of projets that had been parked in my mind for years. I feel it's time to open some drawer; with a friend of mine I am also dreaming to give light to a musical group... We have both few time (or well, we should have few time), zero experience and so on. Nonetheless at the end of this new 2008 I hope we will have produced our first creation. |
